Woodstock Names Public Safety Award Recipients
The annual awards banquet was held in December 2016.
WOODSTOCK, GA -- The Woodstock Police and Fire departments recently held their annual awards banquets where they named their 2016 award recipients.
Woodstock Fire & Rescue recognized the following firefighters for their outstanding service:
- Lt. Kristi Wigington – Officer of the Year
- Firefighter Rodney Kendall – Firefighter of the Year
- Firefighter David Gray – Physical Fitness Award
- Sgt. Robert Bryant – 30 years of service
The Woodstock Police Department recognized the following individuals:

- Harry McGinnis – Volunteer of the Year
- Lauisa Lemon – Civilian of the Year
- Corporal Nikolaus Petit-Alleyne – Distinguished Service Award
- Officer Marsha Allen – Rookie of the Year
- Corporal Jeremy Johnson – Officer of the Year
- Sgt. Jeremy Cochran – Supervisor of the Year
- Jimmy Long - Tessa Basford Community Service Award
- Police Chief James Stone - Legacy Award
