Woodstock Police To Host National Night Out
The 31st annual National Night Out will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 5 at the Park at City Center in downtown Woodstock.

The Woodstock Police Department, in partnership with other local public safety agencies, will join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the 31st annual National Night Out.
The annual event will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5 at the Park at City Center in downtown Woodstock.

National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for and participation in local anti-crime efforts, strengthen police and community partnerships and to send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are uniting together to fight crime.
This event will feature K-9 demonstrations, rock climbing wall, Georgia State Patrol helicopter viewing, bounce houses and other activities for children of all ages. Food and drinks will also be available and music will be provided by DJ Tim Cahill.

Other partnering agencies include: Georgia State Patrol, Drug Enforcement Administration, Cherokee Sheriff’s Office, Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services, Holly Springs Police Department, Woodstock Fire Department, Cherokee County District Attorney’s Office and Cherokee County E-911.
