Woodstock Releases Annual Water Quality Report

The city's water has met or exceeded all safety and quality standards set forth by the state and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

The annual Water Quality Report for the city of Woodstock has been released.

The 2013 report, which is embedded in .PDF format in this article, includes data from both the Cherokee County Water & Sewerage Authority and Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority.

The city purchases all of its water from those two entities.

Woodstock is "pleased to report that your community’s water met or exceeded all safety and quality standards" set forth by the state and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in 2013, the city notes in the report.

For more information or to obtain a copy of the report, residents can contact Scott Hooper, Woodstock's water distribution operator, at (770) 592-6000 ext. 1707.
