Woodstock Visitors Center Closed For Renovations

Brochures and other informational items normally found at the shop can be picked up at the Chambers at City Center lobby.

WOODSTOCK, GA — The Woodstock Visitors Center on Main Street has closed for renovations, the city said Friday.

During this project, any brochures or informational material normally found at the center can be picked up at the lobby of the Chambers at City Center at 8534 Main Street.

The project includes making "cosmetic" improvements inside the building and adding a second public restroom, said Kyle Bennett, the city's tourism manager. The budget for the project is $50,000, and it's being funded by the Woodstock Downtown Development Authority and the Convention and Visitors Bureau, he added.
