• Authorities suspend search for missing swimmer (mauinews.com) — Search efforts for a 75-year-old North Carolina man missing off Kaanapali Beach have been suspended after crews scoured more than a thousand square miles by air and sea since Friday. Authorities say John Weems was last seen snorkeling and are asking anyone with information to contact Maui Police with report number 26-012349.
