• Pedestrian seriously hurt in Waianae hit-and-run (staradvertiser.com) — A pedestrian was critically injured Sunday night in a hit-and-run at the Waianae Mall entrance off Farrington Highway, and Honolulu police are still searching for the driver. The 37-year-old man was in a marked crosswalk when he was struck, and investigators are asking anyone with information about the vehicle or incident to contact HPD’s Traffic Division.
