Get Into the Creative Spirit at the Algonquin Area Public Library

The Algonquin Area Public Library will be hosting programs in writing and photography to get you into the creative spirit!

Upcoming programs at the Algonquin Area Public Library District appeal to local artists or can stimulate the creativity in all of us.

On October 14 at 2 pm, the Library will be presenting the clinic The Ten “Secrets” to Getting Your Book Published.  Attend this program if you’ve got a great idea for a book, or even have a manuscript you believe is ready to go.  This clinic will educate individuals in every key element of book publishing.  Registration is required to attend this presentation, please register online at www.aapld.org or in the Library.

Local writers can also join the Algonquin Area Public Library at their Creativity Café on October 18 at 7 pm or their Writer’s Group on October 25 at 7 pm.  The monthly Creativity Café is open to all, and writers can use the time for writing, small group critique or to present.  Writer’s Group is a diverse group of local writers, and everyone is welcome from beginner to advanced.  No registration is required to attend either group meetings.
