The Library’s Facebook page provides a newsfeed of upcoming events in the Library, along with sharing photos from programs, and provides general Library information.  Moreover, it allows the community to be part of a conversation with the Library and, sometimes, get fun Library-related photos or videos to see. 

Recently, Algonquin Area Public Library added a new feature to its Facebook.  Now you can search the library catalog, place holds, check your library account, and much more without leaving Facebook.  Just click on the Catalog Search and Reserve icon on the top of the Library’s Facebook page to get started.
