McHenry County College to Host Job Fair Nov. 2

Area job seekers are invited to attend McHenry County College’s (MCC) Fall
2012 Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2 in the MCC
Gym/Multi-Purpose Room.

Sponsored by the MCC Career Services Office and the McHenry County Workforce
Network, the job fair will give job seekers with a wide range of education and skill levels, the opportunity to meet recruiters from several area businesses. Job seekers with high school diplomas through master’s degrees are welcome to check out opportunities for both full-time and part-time career opportunities. 

According to Kathy Meisinger, Career Services coordinator at MCC, the job fair is a key component of MCC’s commitment to meet our community’s educational and workforce needs.

“Applicants should dress in business attire, bring their resumes, and be ready to sell their skills in order to make a good impression,” Meisinger said.

A preliminary list of companies includes: Alden Terrace, Aptar, Centegra Health System, Chase Card Services, County of McHenry, Fastenal Company, Panera Bread, True Value Company, United Parcel Service, and Valor Security Services.

The job fair is free and open to the public. Applicants may enter the driveway entrance by the stoplight off of Route 14 and enter the doorway nearest the gym.
