McHenry County College to Offer Electrical Code Class
McHenry County College offers an Electrical Code class for residential and commercial sites from 6:30-9:30 p.m. on Sept. 13 through Dec. 13 at the Woodstock Center, 912 Trakk Lane in Woodstock.
McHenry County College (MCC) will offer a general Electric Code class based on commercial sites, and one- and two-family residences, beginning on Thursday, Sept. 13 and ending on Dec. 13. This course will meet from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Woodstock Center, 912 Trakk Lane, Woodstock.
Information learned in this combination residential/commercial electrical class will help students develop a strong understanding of the 2011 NEC Electrical Code and make more accurate, thorough, and safe installations or inspections relating to residential and commercial sites. Students also prepare for the International Code Council’s (ICC) Electrical Exam.
Students should bring a calculator and a copy of the NEC 2011 Code Book to class. Textbook is included in the cost of the class. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be issued for the class. The cost of this course is $295.
