Most people signing up for a gym membership envision coming to a center with exercise equipment and personal trainers.
For any health or fitness goal they have, they are probably thinking they will need to workout more and cut calories to achieve their goal. While other fitness destinations may put the focus solely on achieving physical results, Life Time, which prides itself on being more than just “a gym,” believes it’s most important to look at the full picture of health to achieve an optimally functioning metabolism.

By performing some quick and easy assessments, the fitness professionals and nutrition coaches at Life Time can help you discover what nutrition and exercise plans will best optimize your health, body weight and composition (body fat) and performance goals.
Assessments include blood tests such as Cardio Metabolic Risk, Men and Women’s Sex Hormone, Stress and Resilience, Comprehensive Vitamin D, Energy and Metabolism, Core Health, Longevity and Vitality and others that will help pinpoint any underlying metabolic issues that may be preventing your from achieving your goals.
Also, new to Life Time members is the myHealthScore assessment which measures blood pressure, resting heart rate, body composition, waist-to-hip ratio, strength, flexibility and also performs a fingerstick blood analysis to check LDL/HDL ratio, glucose and triglycerides.
Once your metabolism has been assessed, the Fitness Professionals (with education and knowledge that make them much more than the average personal trainer) and Registered Dietitians at Life Time can help you reach your health or fitness goals that much more efficiently and effectively.
With a nutrition philosophy that focuses on quality, as opposed to, the old standard ‘calories in’ versus ‘calories out,’ the Registered Dietitians at Life Time help coach members towards long term nutrition & lifestyle behavior changes that help them look and feel their best.
The Algonquin Nutrition and Metabolism Center has two full time Registered Dietitians on staff as well as a part time phlebotomist to walk you through the entire process.
The experience is highly personalized and offers a scientifically backed approach to achieving your goals, puts you on a realistic plan with support from experts and tracks your progress. Those going through the process can even buy their nutritional supplements directly inside the center.
We have some great success stories to share with you, so come in today and start your journey to a healthy way of life.
