Waiting Wednesday: Meet Little Brother Cale

It's Waiting Wednesday at Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County!There are children on our waiting list who have been waiting over 600 days for us to match them with the perfect Big Brother or Big Sister mentor. Some of our challenges are finding the right person with the right interests and personality in the right geographic location in the county. The children currently waiting the longest are located in Marengo; an area where we lack volunteers, especially men! This week read about waiting Little Brother Cale from McHenry!

I have been waiting for a Big Brother for 272 days!

I am always happy and my mom says I am the biggest lover in the world! I like soccer, riding my bike, watching movies and building things with wood. I want my future Big Brother to know that I am nice, don’t say bad words, or punch. I don't have any consistent men in my life.

Please drop off new and gently used games, puzzles, art supplies, crafts and other educational materials at all participating BMO Harris Bank Locations listed below! Look for brightly wrapped boxes!

All donated items will be used to support our After School and Lunch Time Mentoring programs which will serve approximately 300 children at 22 different local elementary and middles schools this 2012-2013 school year!
