Construction Expected to Start This Fall on New Apartment Complex in Lake in the Hills
The developer is hoping to have the apartments built before a new hospital opens in Huntley.

A developer is hoping to break ground this fall on a new 36-unit apartment complex to be located east of Haligus Road and across from Grafton Farm Drive in Lake in the Hills, according to the Northwest Herald.
Joe Billitteri, of Billitteri Enterprises LLC, is hoping to hit the fall timeline in order to have the apartment complex in place before the new Centegra Hopsital-Huntley opens, the newspaper reports. The apartments, which are set to include one- and two-bedroom units, has been marketed heavily to prospective employers at the nearby hospital.

The Lake in the Hills village board narrowly approved an ordinance, 4-3, that included a zoning map amendment for the complex, conditional use permit for a planned development, development plan approval, a reduction in fees and a comprehensive plan amendment, the Northwest Herald reports.
