Driver Faces DUI Charge After Flipping Jeep In Neighborhood

The rollover crash happened in an Algonquin neighborhood Saturday night, police said.

ALGONQUIN, IL – An Algonquin man has been charged with drunken driving and driving while using an electronic device after he hit a tree and mailbox and then flipped his Jeep in a local neighborhood over the weekend, police told the Northwest Herald. George Vazquez Jr., 24, was not seriously injured but his vehicle did sustained extensive damage from the crash, which occurred in the 3200 block of Nottingham Drive at about 11:45 p.m. Saturday. He was arrested, charged and released on bond, the Northwest Herald reports.
