LITH Felon Sentenced For Kicking Man In Head

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — A 36-year-old Lake in the Hills man has been sentenced to prison time for kicking a man in the head.
Daniel DeFrancisco, 36, was sentenced to five years in prison after he pleaded guilty to aggravated battery, which is a Class 3 felony. DeFrancisco was arrested on July 4 for allegations he got into an argument with a man who was over the age of 60 years old, and during the argument, kicked him in the head.
DeFrancisco is a convicted felon who was sentenced to four years in prison in 2014 after pleading guilty to a domestic battery charge in McHenry County and was also convicted in 2011 in Lake in the Hills on an aggravated domestic battery charge, according to online court records.
