LITH P.D. Hosts Teen Safety Series

ALGONQUIN-LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL - From Village of Lake In The Hills: We are pleased to announce our upcoming 5th Annual Teen Safety Series, presented by members of the Lake in the Hills Police Department along with our partners from the McHenry County Substance Abuse Coalition and several incredible guest speakers. This FREE three-week intensive program addresses current obstacles and challenges that teens face in today’s society. Topics will include: alcohol and drug effects, vaping, sexual assault and stalking, social media safety, dating violence, bullying and peer pressure, gang issues and more. The Teen Safety Series is open to males and females, ages 12-16 years old (sensitive material). Space is limited, and pre-registration is required. Priority registration will be given to Lake in the Hills residents; non-residents also welcome.

Dates/Times: 4/3*, 4/10, 4/17 from 6:30 – 9:00 pm

*Please note the first session on April 3rd will include an informational parent meeting from 6:35 – 7:35 pm at the main floor of the police station (1115 Crystal Lake Rd., Lake in the Hills).
