LITH Police Looking For Vehicle, Suspect In Suspicious Fire

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL – The Lake in the Hills Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a vehicle they believe may be connected to a suspicious fire. The fire occurred at 3:35 a.m. on Feb. 17 in the area of Washington Street and McKinley Street in Lake in the Hills, according to a post on the LITH Police Department Facebook page. The vehicle authorities are looking for is a 1998 to 2007 Ford Taurus or Mercury Sable.

The rear passenger tire may be either a spare tire or have a missing hubcap, authorities said.

The suspect was last seen wearing a dark jacket or hoodie with a reflective-type logo.
