• Lake in the Hills man seriously injured after losing control of sports car, resulting in 5-vehicle crash in Algonquin (lakemchenryscanner.com) — A serious five-vehicle crash shut down northbound Route 31 at the Route 62 bridge in Algonquin Monday afternoon, sending two people to the hospital and backing up traffic for hours. Algonquin police are still investigating and asking any witnesses to call their non-emergency line with information about how the Lake in the Hills driver lost control of his sports car.
