LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL -- One person was taken to the hospital after her car collided with a couple trees along Rakow Road in Lake in the Hills Wednesday morning. The collision occurred on Rakow Road west of Pyott Road, and forced authorities to reduce westbound lanes. The driver in the one-vehicle crash was taken to Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital, police told the Northwest Herald. Medical issues <a href="https://www.nwherald.com/2019/03/27/driver-sent-to-hospital-following-rakow-road-crash-in-lake-in-the-hills/as9ld5f/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">are believed to have</a> contributed the crash, authorities said.
