$3M Winning Scratch-Off Ticket Sold In Mount Prospect: IL Lottery
The ticket was the top prize of the 200X Payout Instant Ticket game. It follows recent big payouts in Arlington Heights and Des Plaines.

MOUNT PROSPECT, IL — Lottery players in the northwest suburbs sure are cashing in this year. Following recent major wins by players in Arlington Heights and Des Plaines, a Mount Prospect scratch-off player is $3 million richer.
According to Illinois Lottery officials, the winner, who has chosen to remain anonymous, purchased a winning ticket at a 7-Eleven, located at 606 W. Northwest Highway. The prize was on in the 200X Payout instant ticket game.
Officials said the winner is a regular player at the store, which won a $30,000 bonus itself for selling the ticket.

The win is the latest in a string of big wins for the area. Earlier this month, a winning $1 million winning Lotto ticket was purchased at a Marathon gas station, located at 115 W. Dundee Road, Arlington Heights. Last week, the top prize for the 777 Jackpot scratch-off ticket game, $777,7777, was bought at a 7-Eleven in Des Plaines.
Already this year, lottery officials said over four million winning Illinois Lottery Instant Tickets have been sold, netting players over $105 million in prizes.
