Archdiocese of Chicago Holding Job Fair In Arlington Heights

The fair, scheduled for July 28, is intended to fill parish and school positions.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The Archdiocese of Chicago has 15,000 employees, but it is currently looking for a few more. The Catholic Church organization will hold job fairs at three different locations on Thursday, July 28, including one in Arlington Heights.

The job fair for North Cook County will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road. The other two job fairs are in Oak Park and Oak Lawn.

According to a news release, the job fairs in north, central and south Cook County are aimed at recruiting new and experienced teachers, early retirees and those seeking career change to fill full- and part-time teacher and principal positions, and operations, finance, information technology and administration roles.

The Archdiocese of Chicago serves more than 2.2 million Catholics in 221 parishes and 157 elementary and secondary schools in Cook County and Lake County, a geographic area of 1,411 square miles.
