Augustana Students Perform Senior Recital

Colin Claytor, tenor, presented a senior voice recital Nov. 12 at the Hamann Concert Hall at the Rock Island campus. Calytor is a vocal music education major from Arlington Heights. Claytor's performance included "Brother Will, Brother John" by John Sacco and "The Daisies" by Samuel Barber.

Augustana Students Perform In Christmas At Augustana

The Augustana College Department of Music presents Christmas at Augustana on Dec. 3 and 4. More than 200 student musicians will take the stage to share their talents in what has become a highlight of the Augustana and Quad-Cities holiday season. Presented by Quad City Bank & Trust, Christmas at Augustana has thrilled audiences since 2008. The performance features the Augustana Brass Ensemble, Augustana Symphony Orchestra, Ascension Ringers, Augustana Choir, Jenny Lind Vocal Ensemble and Augustana Concert Chorale. Local performers will include:

Connor Hayes Receives Degree from Georgia Tech

Connor Hayes, of Arlington Heights, has earned a Master of Science in Analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. Hayes was among approximately 1,660 undergraduate and graduate students who earned degrees during the Summer 2022 semester.

Nicholaus Greazel Inducted Into Phi Kappa Phi

Nicholaus Greazel, of Arlington Heights, majoring in Mechanical Engineering, was among the more than 200 University of Mississippi students who were welcomed into the UM chapter of Phi Kappa Phi in fall 2022. Phi Kappa Phi is one of the nation's oldest and most prestigious honor societies for all academic disciplines.
