Couch Set On Fire At Tennis Court: Arlington Heights PD Blotter
Police said the fire was extinguished and there was some damage to the tennis court.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. ARRESTS
VIOLATION OF BAIL BOND

- Lauren A. Eilken, 34, had a warrant for violation of a bail bond, and was arrested at 7:44 p.m. May 26, in the 2100 block of S. Goebbert. Bond was set at $10,000.
- Shanna R. White, 47, had a warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 8:40 a.m. May 29, in the 0-10 block of N. Dryden Avenue.
DOMESTIC BATTERY
- Yusra Jamal, 37, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested at 5:25 p.m. May 28, in the 4200 block of N. Bloomington Avenue. Bond was set at $10,000 and a court date of June 22 was assigned.
- Dulguun Odbaatar, 29, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested at 3:27 a.m. May 29, at N. Chestnut Avenue and W. Waverly Court. Bond was set at $10,000 and a court date of June 22 was assigned.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON

Michael E. McKenna, 51, is accused of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of disorderly conduct, and was arrested at 6:50 p.m. June 1, in the 2100 block of S. Tonne Drive. A court date of June 29 was assigned.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Anna Morkin, 35, is accused of two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 12:54 a.m. May 26, at S. Arlington Heights Road and E. Park Street. A court date of June 29 was assigned.
THEFT
Arthur A. Perez, 49, is accused of theft of over $500, and was arrested at 1:10 p.m. May 30, in the 100 block of E. Algonquin Road. Bond was set at $30,000 and a court date of July 7 was assigned.

INCIDENTS
THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS OR ACCESSORIES
A resident in the 300 block of N. Patton Avenue reported on May 22 that during the overnight hours, someone stole the four wheels off his 2021 Ford. The value of the wheels was estimated at between $2,500-$3,000.
SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT
A complainant called police at 5:53 p.m. May 23, to report that he left his white Cadillac running in the parking lot at Johnnie's Beef, 1935 S. Arlington Heights Road. When he returned to the car, he noticed the dashboard warning light "Theft Attempt" was illuminated.
SUSPICIOUS NOISE
A complainant reported at 3:10 a.m. May 25, hearing what she thought were multiple gunshots in the area of the 2600 block of N. Haddow Avenue. Officers checked the area and did not find anything suggesting such.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO VEHICLE
A citizen reported that someone slashed three tires on his blue Mazda while it was parked in the parking lot between May 23 and May 25 in the 1200 block of S. Old Wilke Road. The cost to replace the tires was unknown.
RETAIL THEFT
An employee at Walgreens, 1711 W. Campbell Street, reported at 3:40 p.m. May 27, two men stole $265.31 worth of beauty products, and left in a silver truck.
VANDALISM
Police said traffic signs were found to be vandalized with spray paint at 4:15 p.m. May 27. The signs were located at:
- N Kennicott Avenue north of Palatine Road (stop sign)
- Shenandoah/Greenbrier Court (25 MPH sign)
- Alexandria Street/N Verde Drive (bike route sign)
- Alexandria Street/N Verde Drive (yield sign)
ARSON
A complainant reported at 12:10 a.m. May 28, seeing a couch on fire on the tennis court at Hasbrook Park, 333 W. Maude Ave. The fire was extinguished and damage to the tennis court was found. The cost to repair the damage was unknown at the time of the report.
THEFT
A customer at X-Sport Fitness, 960 W. Dundee Road, called police to report that between 8:30 p.m. and 8:50 p.m. May 28, someone stole his red Apple iPhone 11 from the counter located inside the men’s locker room. The iPhone was valued at $400.
