Halloween Decoration Stolen From Home: Arlington Heights PD Blotter

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Javaris D. Duncan, 27, of the 1700 block of W. Lake Street, Chicago, is accused of fleeing/attempting to flee a peace officer, and was arrested at 10:27 p.m. Sept. 10, in the 2100 block of S. Tonne Drive. He was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 2.

BATTERY

David B. Hulme, 52, of the 500 block of E. Seegers Road, Arlington Heights, is accused of battery, had a warrant for a parole violation, and was arrested at 9:43 p.m. Sept. 7, in the 500 block of E. Seegers Road.

VIOLATION OF BAIL BOND

Timothy A. Kirschner, 59, of the 1100 block of W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights, had a warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 10:23 a.m. Sept. 7, in the 300 block of N. Evergreen Avenue.

INCIDENTS

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

A resident in the 300 block of N. Patton Avenue reported that between Aug. 23 and Sept. 1, someone had forcibly entered her residence and stole personal property.

THEFT

  • A citizen reported that between 11 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. Sept. 4, someone had stolen his gray Concord Envoy City road bike at Jewel, 122 N. Vail Ave.
  • A resident of the 2400 block of Brandenberry Court reported that between 12:35 p.m. and 12:45 p.m. Sept. 5, someone had stolen her package delivered by Amazon from the building foyer.
  • A resident living at Chestnut Avenue and Cypress Street reported that between Sept. 5 and Sept. 7, someone had stolen her Halloween decoration, described as a metal "IT" clown wearing a yellow jack and holding a red balloon.

VANDALISM

A resident in the 1100 block of S. Ridge Avenue reported that during the overnight hours of Sept. 6, their house had been egged.
