ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. ARRESTS

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

  • Dean P. Adams, 30, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, having a driver's license expired for more than a year, driving 15-20 mph over the speed limit, and was arrested at 11:40 a.m. Nov. 24, at the Flower Garden Day Care Center, 2420 E. Rand Road. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Dec. 22 was assigned.
  • Damon L. Ferguson, 35, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence, having a fraudulent driver's license, driving on a suspended license, obstructing identification, driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 3 a.m. Nov. 25, at Rand Road and Thomas Street. Bond was set at $100,000 and a court date of Dec. 13 was assigned.
  • Jermaine Malik Green, 29, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level over .08, and was arrested at 4:14 a.m. Nov. 26, at Meijer, 700 W. Algonquin Road. Bond was set at $1,000 and a court date of Dec. 15 was assigned.
  • Karen M. Jurkash, 64, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influece of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level over .08, improper traffic lane usage, and was arrested at 7:09 p.m. Nov. 28, in the 0-10 block of E. Miner Street. Bond was set at $1,000 and a court date of Dec. 15 was assigned.
  • Radoslav R. Petrov, 31, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving 15-20 mph over the speed limit, and was arrested at 3:27 a.m. Nov. 28, at Golf and Algonquin roads. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Dec. 22 was assigned.
  • Zaira T. Pinto, 32, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 4:22 a.m. Nov. 25, at Route 53 Palatine Road. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Dec. 15 was assigned.

Frank R. Alagna, 34, is accused of burglary, and was arrested at 8 p.m. Nov. 27, at Comfort Inn, 2120 S. Arlington Heights Road. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of Dec. 17 was assigned.

SPEEDING

  • Tyrone D. Arellano, 57, is accused of speeding 25-34 mph over the speed limit, and was arrested at 7:05 p.m. Nov. 28, at W. Palatine Road and N. Kennicott Avenue. Bond was set at $2,000 and a court date of Dec. 14 was assigned.
  • Nathaniel L. Haas, 42, is accused of speeding over 35 mph over the speed limit, and was arrested at 12:15 a.m. Nov. 25, at Palatine Road and Highland Avenue. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of Dec. 29 was assigned.

  • Nathan E. Shook, 28, is accused of speeding 26-34 mph over the speed limit, and was arrested at 9:05 p.m. Nov. 28, at W. Palatine Road and N. Kennicott Avenue. Bond was set at $2,000 and a court date of Dec. 14 was assigned.

DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE

Corey A. Bucar, 33, is accused of driving on a suspended license, driving 15-20 mph over the speed limit, and was arrested at 1:42 a.m. Nov. 27, at W. Willow and E. Rand roads. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of Dec. 29 was assigned.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Jazmine A. Budzichowski, 30, is accused of criminal damage to property over $500, and was arrested at 1:27 a.m. Nov. 27, at Red Roof Inn, 22 W. Algonquin Road. A court date of Jan. 12, 2022, was assigned.

NO VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE

Daniela C. Casas, 18, is accused of driving with no valid driver's license, speeding 26-34 mph over the speed limit, and was arrested at 7:38 p.m. Nov. 26, at E. Rosehill and N. Windsor drives. Bond was set at $2,500 and a court date of Dec. 14 was assigned.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

Malinda N. Figueroa, 30, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested at 5 p.m. Dec. 2, in Arlington Heights.

THEFT

Lorraine Krupica, 63, is accused of theft over $500, and was arrested at 8:30 a.m. Nov. 30, at Mitchell's Jewelers, 10 N. Dunton Ave. Bond was set at $20,000 and a court date of Dec. 27 was assigned.

POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO MANUFACTURE/DELIVER CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

William Stamps, Jr., 55, is accused of manufacturing/delivering 115 grams of cocaine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and was arrested at 9:30 p.m. Nov. 24, in the 2200 block of S. Tonne Drive. A court date of Nov. 25 was assigned.

INCIDENTS

SUSPICIOUS PERSON

  • A resident in the 200 block of S. Reuter Drive reported at 11:41 a.m. Nov. 22, a male, around 60 years of age, was on a bicycle and stopped in front of residential driveways to look into homes. The man had a wrench in his back pocket. The area was checked and the man was not located.
  • A resident of the 1500 block of E. Central Road called police at 11:13 p.m. Nov. 27 to request an area check on a suspicious male in the parking lot for over 30 minutes. The man was described as wearing all black clothing, standing next to a silver BMW. The area was checked and the man could not be located.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT

An employee at the Buick Dealership, 700 block of W. Dundee Road, called police at 1:49 p.m. Nov. 22, to report a black Cadillac ATZ was missing from the lot since the end of October.

JUVENILE NUISANCE

A person in the 2100 block of S. Tonne Drive reported at 7:18 p.m. Nov. 23, six teenagers keep coming in and out of the building screaming and yelling. The complainant does not believe they live there. The area was checked and the teens could not be located.

BURGLARY TO VEHICLE

A person at LA Fitness, 345 E. Palatine Road, reported at 7:40 p.m. Nov. 23, someone forced entry to their unoccupied Pontiac Vibe by shattering the window and removed a purse. The cost to replace the window was unknown.

NUISANCE

A person called police at 10:38 p.m. Nov. 23, to report several vehicles were driving around the top floor of the parking garage while playing loud music and honking horns. Vehicles left prior to police arrival.

FORGERY

A person wearing a facemask paid for their meal with a fake $100 bill at 11:13 a.m. Nov. 24, at Golden Brunch, 31 E. Golf Road.

THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS

A resident in the 600 block of E. Falcon Drive reported at 12:09 p.m. Nov. 24, someone removed the catalytic converter from the complainant’s Hyundai Tucson sometime overnight. The cost to replace the catalytic converter was unknown.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO MOTOR VEHICLE

A person at The Residences, 300 block of E. Seegers Road, reported at 8:23 p.m. Nov. 24, someone entered an unlocked black Mercedes and an unlocked black Dodge Caravan sometime overnight. Nothing appeared to be missing.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO VEHICLE

  • A resident of the Briar Trace Condos, 1100 block of E. Algonquin Road, called police at 7:11 p.m. Nov. 25, to report someone broke the window to the complainant’s green Acura MDX. Entry was not made. The cost to replace the window is unknown.
  • A person in the 700 block of E. Golf Road reported at 12:03 a.m. Nov. 26, someone broke the window to the complainant’s black Jeep Compass. Entry was not made. The cost to replace the window is unknown.
  • A resident of Briar Trace Condos, 1100 block of E. Algonquin Road, called police at 10:58 a.m. Nov. 26, to report someone broke the window to the complainant’s gray Toyota Solara. Entry was not made. The cost to replace the window is unknown.
  • A resident of The Residences, 2100 block of S. Tonne Drive, called police at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 26, to report someone broke the window to the complainant’s gray Hyundai Santa Fe. Entry was not made. The cost to replace the window is unknown.
  • A resident of the Shalamar East Apartments, 22000 block of S. Goebbert Road, reported at 8:40 p.m. Nov. 28, someone broke off the side mirror on the complainant’s Chrysler Sebring.

SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE WITH OCCUPANT

A resident in the 300 block of S. Gibbons Avenue called police at 12:18 a.m. Nov 29, to report a male in a van pulled up to complaint’s residence with a flashlight, possibly a garbage scrapper. The van left prior to police arrival.
