ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Shelby L. Longhofer, 32, of the 1800 block of Telluride Way, Louisville (Illinois), is accused of criminal trespass to residence and was arrested at 3:07 p.m. Oct. 16, in the 4100 block of N. Highland Avenue. She was released and assigned a court date of Nov. 13.

Jacob I. Perez, 35, of the 2800 block of N. Hampton Street, Rolling Meadows, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 7:34 p.m. Oct. 11, in the 700 block of W. Algonquin Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Nov. 20.

POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

Cameron L. Sawyer, 30, of the 900 block of Lenox Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a revoked license, and was arrested at 6:28 p.m. Oct. 14, in the 700 block of W. Algonquin. He was released and assigned a court date of Nov. 4.

POSSESSION OF BURGLARY TOOLS

Barbara S. Thomas, 33, of the 1500 block of W. 78th Street, Chicago, is accused of possession of burglary tools, and was arrested at 10:10 p.m. Oct. 16, in the 2800 block of N. Windsor Drive. RETAIL THEFT

  • Alessandra Vaduva, 25, of the 1200 block of Bank Drive, Schaumburg, is accused of retail theft, and was arrested at 1:55 p.m. Oct. 14, in the 1200 block of Bank Drive, Schaumburg. She was released and assigned a court date of Nov. 4.
  • Francesca Vaduva, 21, of the 1200 block of Bank Drive, Schaumburg, is accused of retail theft, and was arrested at 1:55 p.m. Oct. 14, in the 1200 block of Bank Drive, Schaumburg. She was released and assigned a court date of Nov. 4.

INCIDENTS

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

  • A resident in the 1600 block of S. Princeton Avenue reported at 8:25 p.m. Oct. 7, someone had slashed her two inflatable Halloween decorations.
  • Residents in the 1300 block of Best Drive and the 3100 block of Wilshire Lane reported that between 11:30 p.m. and 11:50 p.m. Oct. 13, two males kicked their front doors, causing extensive damage. They were described as likely juveniles, wearing all dark clothing, black shoes and green face masks.

THEFT

A resident in the 1400 block of N. Wilke Road called police to report that between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Oct. 8, someone stole an Amazon package from his front porch.

RETAIL THEFT

  • An employee at Dick's Sporting Goods, 401 E. Palatine Road, reported at 5:17 p.m. Oct. 9, two people stole an unknown number of Nike athletic apparel. The pair left in a silver sedan. The first person was described as a black male, wearing a red hat, black sweatshirt, and black sweatpants. The second was described as a white or Hispanic male, wearing a white hat, black sweatshirt, and white sweatpants.
  • An employee at Kohl's, 800 W. Dundee Road, called police at 1:04 p.m. Oct. 11, to report someone had stolen four pairs of men's dress pants and two men's collared shirts. The person was described as a white female, wearing a gray sweater, black tank top, black leggings, white sneakers, carrying a gray purse. The female left in a gray vehicle.
