Tyson Foods announced in November 2015 that it will be closing the facility at 4201 S. Ashland Ave. With the closing is the loss of 480 jobs, the Tribune reports.
“It's unclear whether the plant's already been closed and, if so, how many jobs could be restored at the plant under the change in ownership,” according to the article.
OSI supplies beef, pork, poultry, baked goods, seafood, produce and more to customers around the world.
