Aurora Cops Investigate Shots Fired In Hometown Subdivision

Police say they do not believe the incident is linked to a recent shooting in the 400 block of South Lasalle.

AURORA, IL — Aurora police are investigating a report of shots fired in the 1500 block of Victoria Park Circle Thursday afternoon. The incident took place around 5 p.m., according to a post from the Aurora Police Department.

Police say that around 5 p.m. they got multiple calls reporting shots fired. When they got to the scene, they collected evidence and interviewed witnesses, but were unable to locate any suspects.

Aurora police do not believe the shots fired incident is linked to a recent shooting that left a man critically injured in the 400 block of South Lasalle Street Thursday night.
