AURORA, IL — Aurora will remain under curfew for a fourth night in a row, Mayor Richard Irvin announced Wednesday afternoon. The curfew will run from 8:30 p.m. Wednesday until 6 a.m. Thursday.

All Interstate 88 exits to Aurora will be closed during the curfew, and no one will be allowed to use them, according to the mayor's office.

Irvin and Kane County officials first enacted the curfew Sunday night after peaceful protests turned into looting and clashes with police.
