Police say he was driving on a revoked license when he allegedly hit and killed the Oswego HS softball coach.

AURORA, IL — An Aurora man has been charged on multiple counts in connection with a hit-and-run crash that killed Oswego High School softball coach Amanda Stanton, 26. Nehemiah Williams, 38, of the 100 block of Gregory St., Aurora, was charged with reckless homicide, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident involving death, and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked driver's license.
Stanton's body was found Sunday near the intersection of Plainfield Rd. and Plainsman Ct. Police say she had been walking down Plainfield Road.
The car that was suspected of fatally striking Stanton — a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica — was located Friday. Law enforcement credited the public with helping them find the vehicle, which connected them with more leads that led up to Williams's arrest.
