Aurora Private School Switches To E-Learning Due To Wintry Weather
Although it's mid-March, this week's weather will start off wintry before temperatures rise by the end of the week.

AURORA, IL — Sunday brought a thunderstorm and wintry weather to the Chicagoland area, leading to an Aurora private school closing its doors Monday.
Rosary College Prep, 901 N. Edgelawn Drive, switched students' coursework to a half-day of e-learning due to weather and poor driving conditions, school officials said on Facebook.
Students were directed to visit Google Classroom to find meeting links and instructions in order to follow their synchronous schedule.

Monday's forecast called for a high of 28 degrees, with windchills below zero Monday night into Tuesday, when the high will be around 26 degrees.
"The safety of our students, faculty, staff, and families is our highest priority," the school wrote. "Thank you for your understanding and partnership. Please stay safe today."

More snow and temperatures in the 20s are expected early this week before a big warmup, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures will return to the 40s, 50s and even 60s through mid-week and the end of the week. A high of 47 degrees is expected for Wednesday, 59 degrees for Thursday and 67 degrees for Friday, Patch reported.
