Masked Bandit Robbed Bank Of America: Aurora Police
Aurora officers requested the FBI to the scene after the bank robbery Tuesday in the 2300 block of West Indian Trail Road.

AURORA, IL — Bank of America, in the 2300 block of Indian Trail Road, was robbed Tuesday afternoon by a masked bandit, Aurora police said.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation — called to the scene by Aurora officers because bank robberies are a federal crime — responded to the scene at about 5 p.m. The robber, who remains at large, used a note to commit the crime, according to Special Agent Siobhan Johnson.
Officials did not say how much money was stolen from the bank.

The FBI described the suspect as a tall male with a slim build. He was wearing a black hat, orange vest, blue jeans, dark gloves, eyewear and a dark mask.
Community members who witnessed the robbery or have any information can report tips — both signed and anonymous — to the FBI at 312-421-6700 or tips.fbi.gov.
