AURORA, IL — Organizers of the 11th annual Fiestas Patrias Festival have secured a band described as an "international sensation."

Beyond live music, Fiestas Patrias Festival will feature the traditional Parade of Nations, a ceremony to honor scholar recipients from the past year and a variety of food vendors.

Last year, the festival raised a record-breaking roughly $102,000 in scholarship funds for college-bound Latino students from Aurora. This year, proceeds will again go toward funding scholarships administered through the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley, officials said.
