The National Weather Service predicted wind chills between minus 25 to minus 35 degrees on Friday.
KANE COUNTY, IL — All Kane County court proceedings scheduled Friday will be held remotely due to extreme weather conditions, the Kane County State's Attorney's Office announced.
All Kane County courts and judicial facilities — including the branches in Aurora and Elgin, the Kane County Courthouse in Geneva, the Kane County Judicial Center in St. Charles, and the Kane County Juvenile Justice Center Court in St. Charles — will be closed as a result.
Those with scheduled hearings should go to the Zoom court streaming directory, select the appropriate courtroom and click "join hearing."
