WATCH: North Aurora Armed Robbery

An unidentified man committed an armed robbery of a North Aurora convenience store last week. Police released the video of the incident.

NORTH AURORA, IL -- North Aurora police have released a video of an armed robbery in a convenience store. The suspect is still at large, and police are asking for the public's help identifying him.

The Facebook post said "The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male with a full beard, wearing a white or gray hooded sweatshirt with “Nike” in large letters across the chest, a white Chicago Blackhawks hat, dark sunglasses, dark jeans and a glove on his right hand. He also appears to have a tattoo or writing on his left hand/wrist area."

The robbery occurred in the 0-100 block of S. Lincolnway around 5:32 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6. The clerk was not injured in the robbery.

North Aurora police are asking anyone with information on the suspect or incident to call the department's Investigations Division at 630-897-8705, ext. 610, or to call Aurora Area Crime Stoppers at 630-892-1000 and receive an award for information leading to an arrest of the suspect.
