Chicago Suburbs Reddit Hosting 'AMA' With Cook County Officials Friday

Two Cook County officials will answer questions about the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 on Reddit Friday afternoon.

COOK COUNTY, IL — Two Cook County officials will answer questions about the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 on Reddit Friday.

The Chicago Suburbs community is hosting an "Ask Me Anything" (AMA) chat with Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison and Cook County Budget Director Annette Guzman on August 27 from noon-1 p.m.

Cook County will receive more than $1 billion from the federal government through the American Rescue Plan Act and is asking for community input on how to prioritize the money.

Morrison represents District 15, which includes the townships of Barrington, Elk Grove, Hanover, and Schaumburg and parts of Palatine and Wheeling townships.

Anyone wishing to ask a question must first create a free account on Reddit on their computer or smartphone, and then visit the Chicago Suburbs page to find the AMA.
