Barrington Woman Dies in ATV Crash in Montana

BARRINGTON, IL -- A 69-year-old Barrington woman was killed Monday in an ATV accident in Montana.

Helene Antonini was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred in Big Sky, Montana, shortly after noon on Monday, according to a news release from the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office.

Antonini was operating her ATV on her property along a narrow logging road when she struck some rocks and was thrown from the ATV, police said. She was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

She died of injuries sustained after her head struck a large rock, according to the news release.

Big Sky, Montana, is located northwest of Yellowstone National Park.
