Barrington's Fox Point Among 'Nicest' Places to Live: Report
A neighborhood in Barrington is among the nicest places to live in the U.S., according to a Reader's Digest report.

BARRINGTON, IL — The Fox Point neighborhood of Barrington has been named the nicest place to live in Illinois by Reader's Digest. The magazine picked the affluent area after neighbors stepped up to make sure a homosexual couple and their two daughters felt welcome.
The couple hung a rainbow flag, which was stolen. But a woman living in the neighborhood put up her own rainbow flag and ordered more to hand out to Fox Point residents. Now, the flags are all over.
Reader's Digest picked neighborhoods and towns in all states that they believe exemplified the nicest places to live in the U.S.
