Broncos to Host Military Appreciation Game
In honor of all who have served our country, the Barrington Broncos football team, along with the Quarterback Club and We Do Care, are hosting a Military Appreciation Night on Sept. 2.

The will kick off their home season with a very special event Sept. 2.
The team, along the Barrington Quarterback Club and We Do Care, will hold Military Appreciation Night at Barrington Community Stadium at 7:30 p.m. The football game against Elk Grove will begin at 7 p.m.
According to a press release, the Broncos will wear special military recognition uniforms. The numbers on the jerseys will be in camouflage and the military’s values will be displayed on the front.

There also will be special ceremonies and music before and during the game to salute the military men and women in attendance.
“We are excited about getting people in the community who have served and went to school here, so that we can give them their due respect for what they have done for us,” said football coach Joe Sanchez.

The game is free for active and retired military and for veterans and their families. Anyone receiving a free ticket is asked to pre-register.
