Fundraising Dinner For Recovery Home At Pinstripes

An event will be held on February 3 at Pinstripes in Barrington.

BARRINGTON, IL - Former Chicago Blackhawks fan favorite player Brent Sopel will host a fundraising dinner for the New Directions Addiction Recovery Services, a recovery home in Crystal Lake. The first event of its kind for the non-profit will be held on Saturday, Feb. 3 from 6:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. at Pinstripes, 100 W. Higgins Road in Barrington.

All funds raised will support the various New Directions programs. According to its website, New Direction has a mission "to support the process of recovery from substance abuse and addiction."

Chad Coe will be the event's charity auctioneer while Sopel, a member of the Blackhawks' 2010 Stanley Cup championship team, will host.

Tickets are $95 and will include dinner, entertainment, bowling and bocce. Anyone interested can purchase them here.
