Continuous learning helps keep our mind sharp and improves memory as we age. It’s a known fact that learning in general has beneficial effects on the brain. If you haven’t stepped out of your routine for a while or haven’t taken on a new challenge, the experience may feel a little daunting. With Lifelong Learning, this feeling is easily overcome as our program helps you gain confidence in the ability to learn and share information with others.
Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) offers you fresh, relevant and fun courses in a seminar format. That means no exams or homework – just spirited discussions, hands-on activities and new connections with lifelong learners just like you.
Learn in intimate groups led by distinguished Harper College facutly and experts in a variety of professional fields. Program leaders create engaging and innovative programs specifically for lifelong learners. Choose from a new group of featured seminar topics each semester. Courses are offered in areas such as: art, books and literature, current events, health and wellness, history, music, personal interest, travel and writing.
