McFun for Waterbury McTeacher's
Waterbury School held a McTeacher's Night Fundraiser at the Hanover Park McDonald's to raise money for their school.
On Tuesday April 21st, Waterbury School held a McTeacher’s Night Fundraiser at the McDonald’s at 1050 W. Lake St. in Hanover Park. Teacher took over the restaurant serving up delicious meals to students and families to help raise money for their school. Many teachers worked very hard including: McTeachers Hendry, Thede, Giovannini, Meyer, O’Malley, Moctezuma, Padron, Greenwood, Ellis, Sopoci, Toronyi, Barnum, Patel, Zelman, Garippo, Sabados, Hughes, Perdue, Henry, Trippiedi, Stephan, Bolger, McAssistant Principal Seaton and McPrincipal Guzan. The teachers greeted families, cleaned the lobby, served food and drinks, sold pies and even sang for tips. Waterbury McTeachers had it all covered and the families all had a great time. The school plans to use the money to go into an activity fund for paper products at events and also for student rewards. Lots of students, teachers, families and friends came out to support the school. All the kids came to see their teachers work at the Hanover Park McDonald’s. A special appearance by the Waterbury Chorus and Ronald McDonald made this a very memorable evening. A special thank you goes to McPrincipal Deb Guzan who organized the entire event. It was a great night! McTeacher’s Night was courtesy of the Hanover Park McDonald’s owner/operator, Jan Nelson.
