More Victims Possible In Barrington Sex Abuse Case
A 22-year-old man was arrested for sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl in Barrington. Police are asking any other victims to come forward.

The Barrington Police Department is asking anyone who has information on a 22-year-old Chicago man who may have had relationships with minors to contact authorities.
The request by the suburban police department comes after Salman Patel was arrested at 2:30 a.m. on Feb. 11 in Barrington. A Barrington Police Department officer spotted a vehicle parked at 505 N. Northwest Highway and, upon further investigation, found Patel in the vehicle with a 13-year-old girl, according to a news release from the Barrington Police Department.
Patel, of the 1000 block of South State Street in Chicago, is accused of initially providing a false name and date of birth to the officer, which made him younger than what he actually was, according to the news release.
