NHL unveils rendering of 2015 Winter Classic #Blackhawks #Capitals
IF THIS IS HOW THINGS TURN OUT AT NATIONALS PARK, THE 2015 WINTER CLASSIC IS GOING TO LOOK PRETTY DARN COOL.
Aside from the fact that some fans are in shorts sleeves in January and pretty much everyone is in a Capitals jersey — let’s not forget how well Blackhawks fans travel — it would be cool if the ballpark turned out just like this.
A couple of other instant thoughts: Hopefully that’s not the Plain White T’s performing again. Also, that zamboni looks larger than the mini zamboni at last season’s Stadium Series game at Soldier Field. So that’s good news. But why is it driving in the outfield?
We’ll find out all that out for ourselves when the puck drops on Jan. 1.
