Born March 17, 1934 in Melrose Park, IL to John and Mary (nee Dobbins) Remkus, he passed away March 24, 2012 while vacationing with his wife in Hawaii.

Tom was a devoted family man who enjoyed golfing, traveling and spending time with his friends.
Tom was the beloved husband for 54 years to Joan (nee Carosielli), loving father of Karen (Larry) Poglitsch, and Janet (Brian) Wanca, dear grandfather of David, Laura, Kevin, Meghan, Stephen, Brandon, Kyle, and Ryan, cherished brother of Lorraine (Andrew) Nosacek, and John (Late Geri) Remkus.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Edwin Remkus.
Visitation will be 4-9pm Sunday April 1 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St, Barrington IL. Prayers will be said at 12 noon, Monday, April 2 at the funeral home before processing to St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 N. Ela St, Barrington, for mass at 12:30pm. Interment will be private.
