Night two of the Life After High School transition series, and this one is hands on. You will build a picture of the good life your student actually wants, then work backward into a plan the IEP team can act on. Taught with the Charting the LifeCourse tools by Abbi Mars, Transition Facilitator at Family Matters PTIC, Illinois' Parent Training and Information Center. Hosted by Southern Illinois Pathways, a program of SIP Arts Foundation. Come to Belleville for the hands-on version, or join on Zoom if the drive does not work for you. Your Zoom link comes in your confirmation email. Free. No diagnosis and no income requirement. Open to families across all nine Metro East counties. Students and young adults are welcome to attend and speak for themselves. Register at sipaf.org/transition or call or text 618-823-2423. Need an accommodation, a ride, or childcare? Tell us when you register and we will work it out.
