Mount Carmel High School, Chicago’s premier Catholic college preparatory school for young men, invites eighth grade students to the 2013 Entrance Exam.  The Entrance Exam will take place Saturday, January 12 at 8:00 a.m. 


To recognize academic excellence, Mount Carmel will once again offer renewable academic scholarship opportunities for incoming freshmen who take the Entrance Exam at Mount Carmel. Every incoming freshman who tests at the 90th percentile or above will receive an academic scholarship. The following renewable tuition
reductions, or academic scholarships, are available to incoming freshmen based on their performance on the Entrance Exam.


National Score Academic Scholarship Award


99%   - Full tuition scholarship for the student’s freshman year; $4000 reduction per year for the student’s sophomore through senior years. *The student must maintain a GPA of 4.0 or higher.


90-98% - $2000 reduction per year for the student’s freshman through senior years. *The student must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher.
