Chicago Pet Show Showcases All The Ways Pets Are Special
Chicago Pet Show features presentations, pet experts, a pet boutique and rescue organizations May 4 and May 5 at the Oak Lawn Pavilion.

OAK LAWN, IL -- Meet all kinds of critters this Saturday and Sunday, May 4 and May 5, at the Chicago Pet Show. The Chicago Pet Show runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days at the Oak Lawn Community Pavilion, 9401 S. Oak Park Ave., Oak Lawn.
The Chicago Pet Show offers fun, education and the chance help dozens of rescued animals. On tap for the weekend are world renowned reptile expert Jim Nesci with his interactive reptile presentation, Magic Mike, a pet boutique, NWI Chinchillas, West Burb Weiner Races, Crosstown Exotics Traveling Reptile and Bug Show, Cook County Animal and Rabies Control and more.
Bring home a new best friend by meeting dogs and cats looking for their forever homes. Breed-specific rescue groups and mixed-breed animals from shelters and humane societies will be on hand to meet the public, including Greater Chicago Cavalier King Charles, STRAES (Shih Tzu), 4 Greyhound Races, Adaptabull English bulldogs and It’s A Pittie (pit bull rescue). Featured cat rescues include St. Sophia’s Feline Rescue, Wave Animals Rescue and Open Doors with adoptable cats of all ages and sizes.

Admission is free for kids under 18 and seniors over 65. Adult tickets are $7 and good for the entire weekend. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. Minor children must be accompanied by an adult. Please leave your pets at home.
