3 Suspected Dopers Busted By Bolingbrook Police
Two of the criminal defendants live in Joliet, Bolingbrook Police reports show.

BOLINGBROOK, IL - Last week, the Bolingbrook Police Department made several drug arrests including last Wednesday when three people were taken away in handcuffs related charges involving the dangerous drug of heroin. Bolingbrook Police reports show that patrol officers stopped a Mazda driven by 20-year-old Joliet resident Jonathon Reed shortly before 5 p.m. on May 16.
Reed, who lives in the 500 block of Florence Avenue, was pulled over in the 500 block of South Bolingbrook Drive on charges of operating a vehicle with a revoked driver's license. "Upon searching Reed, officers located a small amount of heroin hidden in his waistband. A search of the car also yielded a small amount of cannabis," police reports show.
Reed was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility and charged with possession of a controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and Driving While License Revoked, Bolingbrook Police said. He was given a $75,000 bail, and posted bond on Friday night, jail records reflect.

Besides Reed, Bolingbrook Police also arrested two others that same night on heroin-related charges.
Around 6:15 p.m., "officers observed a suspected drug transaction take place in the 800 block of East Boughton Road," reports show.

Bolingbrook Police say they located a small amount of heroin from the drug deal.
The driver was Antwonn McGee, of the 500 block of Florence Avenue in Joliet and his passenger was Anthony Harper, 28, of Chicago, police reports show.

"A further search of the vehicle also yielded a small amount of cannabis. Both (men) were taken into custody and transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility. Both subjects were charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance," Bolingbrook Police reports state.
McGee's bail was set at $300,000, and he has not been able to post bond. Harper drew a $50,000 bail, but he has been unable to post bond as well.
