BOLINGBROOK, IL - Here's your look at some of the recent crime investigated by the Bolingbrook Police Department during the last week of August.

The following information was furnished by Bolingbrook Police:

AUG. 23
Andres Paredes, 55, 700 block of Springbrook Lane, was charged with criminal trespass to property, following a call to a business on the 100 block of S. Bolingbrook Dr. at 12:24 p.m.

AUG. 24

Officers responded to the 300 block of N. Schmidt Rd. for the report of a robbery. A purse was grabbed while the victim was walking along the sidewalk at 11 p.m.

Ronald Watts, Chicago, was charged with battery, following a call to the 400 block of W. Crossroads Pkwy. at 9:40 p.m.

AUG. 25

Airramist Payne, 37, 227 E 141st St., Chicago, was charged with assault, following a call to the 500 block of S. Bolingbrook Dr. at 6:59 a.m.

Sheldon Merritt, 43, 304 Delaware Dr., was charged with an in-state warrant, following a patrol stop on the 200 block of N. Bolingbrook Drive at 1:03 p.m.

AUG. 26

Joshua Beavers, 19, 123 Lee Ln., was charged with an in-state warrant, following a traffic stop at Clifton Lane & Berkeley Drive at 12:55 p.m.

Alfonso Hernandez, 26, 17S Fernwood Drive, was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting a peace officer, following a call to the 200 block of Aspen Dr. for a domestic disturbance at 1:47 a.m.

AUG. 27

Tyvon Hall, 22, Chicago, was charged with possession of stolen property, on the 400 block of W. Crossroads Pkwy, at 3:17 p.m.

Romas Stanelis, 40, Naperville, was charged with in-state warrant, two counts of DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol and driving on a suspended license, following a traffic stop on the 300 block of S. Bolingbrook Dr. at 7:05 p.m.

Officers responded to the 400 block of Skokie Lane for the report of a burglary. The burglar entered the secured residence and removed two saws between Aug. 24-27. Loss valued at $700.

AUG. 28

Brian Visor, 39, 649 Sundance Drive, was charged with an in-state warrant and driving on a suspended license, following a traffic stop at Cumberland Dr. & Schmidt Rd. at 4:34 p.m.

A vehicle parked on the 300 block of Pheasant Chase Drive was rummaged through and US currency was taken sometime overnight.
